So that you can easily follow how your donations are being used, we have joined the Initiative Transparent Civil Society. This external check ensures preventive control of use based on the four-eyes principle.

 

We guarantee that all of your donations goes to the projects!

Initiative Transparent Civil Society e.V.

We have been a member of the initiative since November 2017 and are entitled to bear their seal. In this way, we guarantee that your donation is traceable and reaches our projects in full.

Fees charged by financial institutions for donations and/or international transfers are excluded.

Our Promise

We undertake to make the following ten precisely named and relevant pieces of information about Friends-for-Hope e.V. available to the public and to keep them up to date.

1. Name, registered office, address and year of foundation
Friends-for-Hope e.V. was founded on November 15th, 2014. You can find our address and contact details here.

 

2. Complete statutes and information on the organizational goals
Friends-for-Hope e.V.  was registered on December 22, 2014 under the number VR 205774  in the register of associations of the district court of Munich. The current extract from the register of associations can be found here. The statutes in the version of November 15th, 2014, entered in the register of associations on November 15th, 2014, can be viewed here download. The association is non-denominational and politically neutral. In the statutes you can also read more about the purpose of the association as well as about the goals and areas of work.

 

3. Information on tax benefits
The association is registered with the Munich tax office for corporations under the tax number 9143/000215513367.
Since its founding, the association has been recognized by the Munich tax office as non-profit and charitable for corporations (charitable purposes; development cooperation; international understanding; child and youth welfare; education and training). 4. Name and function of key decision-makers in the association's bodies

The organs of the association are the General Assembly and the Board of Directors.

The general meeting takes place annually and is the highest decision-making body of the association. It elects and discharges the board of directors, accepts the annual report of the board of directors and the annual financial statements and decides on changes to the articles of association. The board members are elected by the general meeting for a period of two years. They work on a voluntary basis and receive no remuneration or expense allowances. You can find an overview of the board members here.

6. Personnel structure

The association was founded on November 15, 2014 with 13 members. In the 2020 financial year, 23 members and 4 board members worked for the association on a voluntary basis. You can read more about the personnel structure in the annual reports (point 5).

7. Source of Funds Disclosures

Information from the annual financial statements on the source of funds can be found in the annual reports (point 5). Further information can be found in the annual accounts, which you can inspect on request from us.
 

8. Use of Funds

We also publish project reports, which you can obtain from us on request. In addition, we have also created impact-oriented reports that you here receive.

 

9. Corporate Affiliates with Third Parties
There is no corporate affiliation with third parties (such as holdings, spin-offs, etc.). The association is independent and not part of an international alliance or similar.

 

10. Names of legal entities whose annual payments exceed 10% of the total annual budget.

In the financial year there were donations from legal entities; individually and in total these amount to less than 10% of the total donations.
